I'm from the 4th generation that had a hidden compartment for better organization. Unfortunately, in the 5th generation there is no longer a hidden compartment and everything that was there was simply thrown away. It was a disaster. This shelf insert organizes the space perfectly! I am very impressed with this item. It's so simple, but so damn awesome. My 4Runner uses glove space much more efficiently. If you have 4Runner, just buy it. It is not easy!
