Description of Maroon True Fabrication Twin Prong Bottle - 1 Piece, Enhanced SEO

This classic style of wine bottle opener, sometimes known as the “butler’s friend,” slides into the bottleneck alongside the cork and twists out, keeping the cork intact to reuse or to save. Our sturdy chrome version of the vintage tool never fails to imp. 2-prong design. Chrome handle & plastic sheath. Removes corks intact

Teeth too short on bar and wine tools

Cannot recommend this model or manufacturer. I own and use this type of puller religiously. This model tends to push through any cork and with any luck it may take some effort to get it out again. I compared it to my other pullers and found that the pins are at least 1/4" shorter than the shortest and the "V" shape is too thick and pushes the cork into the bottle.

Pros
  • Many fit
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised

Cheap materials, poor design, inefficiency and danger

Compared to a similar corkscrew that worked fine for me, this cap changer does not work due to poor materials and poor construction. The pins are rough and not properly shaped to slide easily between the cork and the bottle. The excessive force required to insert the puller resulted in the cork being pushed into the bottle, causing the bottle to tip over and spill.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Useless features

You get what you pay for

Don't waste your money on this. I wish I had spent a little more and gotten a better quality corkscrew. It is difficult to use and tends to push the cork into the bottle when you insert the pins into the sides of the cork. I still have one that we bought from the winery - it works great and I thought I'd buy another one as a backup/spare. The prongs aren't as thin and smooth as my other one, so instead of loosening the edges of the cork, it grabs the cork and pushes it deeper into the bottle…

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • There are problems

Perfect for a broken cork

I learned about these quirky little devices while visiting a few wineries in Napa, California. Our guide had one of these on the table and we asked him about it. He stuck the cork halfway into the bottle and broke it off. As many probably know, spinning is a bad idea at this stage. With a corkscrew you either drive right through the traffic jam or you don't go far enough and only make the situation worse. cork, no matter how damaged it is. For a few bucks, this is a good reserve for opening…

  • Done
