🔌 JEM&JULES R134A Adapters: Refrigerant Tank/Vacuum Pump Kit with 1/2 inch Acme Female x 1/4 inch Male Flare Connectors Review

These JEM JULES adapters failed to deliver on their promise of compatibility with all refrigerant types for efficient vacuum tests. As my tests showed, they leaked and were not suitable for professional use. The one pro was that they were affordable, but this could hardly make up for their lack of reliability. In the end, these adapters only wasted my time and money.

Threads an automotive air conditioning tank and converts it to the regular 1/4" SAE thread used on all other cooling instruments.

This little adapter fits me perfectly. I rented a vacuum pump and gauge set from a local auto shop to do the job. However, I found that the hose I had to connect to the mini-split had ACME threads, while the gauge set had SAE threads. My local HVAC shop didn't have any fittings or adapters. I quickly found this little adapter and it worked like a charm. I was able to hook up a pump, a bunch of gauges and my mini split and it all worked great.
