Jensen Character Receiver Assistant Bluetooth Review

This stereo is great! I installed it in an old Honda CR-V without replacing the speakers. Huge improvement! It is easy to use and program. I am very happy with it.

The thing works, but there's a problem: there's no powerful built-in amplifier. The result is linear noise. When you drive, you hear this whistle every time you step on the gas.

After purchasing all the necessary adapters and wiring harnesses, it turned out that the device had no sound. I redid the connections three times, finally soldered the wires. still no sound.

Bought a cheap radio for my work truck, works perfectly, Bluetooth function in the phone is poor, built-in microphone is missing. The brightness of the display is pathetic, you can't read the time with anything brighter than on a cloudy day.

This Jensen BT MP 5 radio is very good but it doesn't come with any mounts and being an mp5 you definitely need the right mounts for it otherwise it works very well Well great sound for you Simplicity. Nothing fantastic. It also looks great.

Glad to get this as my factory radio died in my suburban car. The first thing I heard when I started the car was engine/alternator noise from the speakers. I tried isolated ground but it still didn't work. NO TOUCH SCREEN. That's normal for me, since I do everything on my cell phone anyway and the machine usually takes longer. You still have the voice recording feature but no microphone, it just activates your phone. What pissed me off was having to disassemble and plug this thing in and the memory for settings, radios etc didn't work so I disassembled the dash again to change the DC cables and it reset back to default when rotated it every now and then. Very happy with Jensen double din deck and installation. I was looking for a cheap device for Bluetooth music and a hands-free phone. Other brand reviews were linked to this brand name decision. Under $40 for a 2 din radio! I was surprised that the Bluetooth call microphone feature is actually part of the radio panel, just below the display. I thought I could connect my iPod to USB for playback, but it doesn't work that way. It plays MP3s, so I just grabbed a 4GB flash drive and put music on it.
