Warm welcome! for personal radios

I use this radio in my basement; weak stations that I had trouble tuning my old radio to sound loud and clear on this one. A big tuning knob is great, there's nothing worse than tuning a radio with a tiny knob that makes fine tuning difficult. No scratching noises when setting up! Very simple controls that are refreshing these days. There is no sound control, but it is not needed either, the sound quality is excellent. One small complaint: no headphone/earphone audio out, only audio in. Seems…

Pros
  • AM/FM receiver
Cons
  • Modernity

Great little radio with nice extras

The compact design is ideal for small spaces or when travelling. It picks up stations over 70 miles away with great clarity. The aux jack works as it should so I can plug in my iPod when I don't want to listen to the radio. The sound is good, but not outstanding. As long as you're in the same room as the radio, it's fine, but it won't fill your house with sound. I took it on a hike and it works great for on site camping. It's loud enough to be heard by the fire, but you don't have to worry too…

Pros
  • Swivel telescopic antenna
Cons
  • Hard to say

Ideal for trips to the cinema or camping.

This radio is much smaller than I thought. (The sizes listed are correct, I just didn't read them!) I bought this to throw in my car when I go to the cinema and it's the perfect size. It has a nice retro feel so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb in my vintage cars (which don't have working radios!). It would also be good in the shed, garage, kitchen or campsite. It has an aux jack but no aux cable. However, it does have a power cord that fits neatly into the back of the radio. There's even

Pros
  • Power supply: 120 VAC, 60 Hz or 4 C batteries (UM-2) (not included)
Cons
  • Everything is fine
