That's great! I finally have a magnifying mirror that is easy to use without having to almost double over to see the magnifying mirror attached to the wall mirror. I really wanted a 10x magnification, but thought a small 15x mirror would be optically inconvenient. It's nice to slide away from the wall when not in use, yet easily accessible when I need to use it. Like nickel (no fingerprints).

This mirror would be perfect if my house had regular walls. Since I live in an RV, most of the walls are thin drywall with awkwardly placed support posts. The mirror is too heavy for my flimsy drywall, and regardless of the length of the screws or "drywall anchors" the weight of the mirror and lack of support from the side of the wall causes the mirror to sag severely. and actually makes the holes in the wall bigger. This is a well made product that fits into a cramped bathroom corner and looks and works great! A tip: If you plan to install in a corner, DO NOT install the mounting plate directly on the edge of the corner wall. I did this to hook the stud, but I had to rotate the inside corner edge of the wall plate to allow the mounting plate cover to fit OVER the mounting plate. See the picture of what I'm talking about.

I love the look of this mirror. The chrome and the rectangular wall paneling fit perfectly in my modern bathroom. I wish it had a 10x mirror. 8x is weak for my old eyes. This is my biggest disappointment. I'm looking for a point mirror that might help. Also, the mirror arrived without screws or molybdenum anchors, although it didn't really matter. This is a solid mirror that is easy to install. I was able to install it myself and it works great allowing me to see applying makeup and see the back of my head. My husband likes the enlarged side when shaving. I think it will last a long time as it is very well made and has a fairly tight movement that seems to last a long time.

I bought two of these. One 3.5 years ago and the other 2.5 years ago, both installed in our bathrooms. Both chrome mirrors are still in great shape, shiny and rust free. Bought for my wife. She loves it. I originally wanted a lighted mirror, but the hassle of running wires to the obvious mounting location was a bit more than I wanted.
