🪞 Jerdon Rectangular Wall Mount Mirror JRT695BK Review

I have had my eye on this style or mirror for a long time as it was inspired by the hotel. After doing some comparison shopping, I decided on this one. The price was good. I received it earlier than expected. It was relatively easy to install. So far I'm enjoying it. As promised, a good increase. I would buy it again.

My wife really liked this mirror while she was on vacation at the hotel, so I bought it for her for Valentine's Day. Due to the length of the arm, it's important to find a bolt to secure it so the moment arm doesn't pull the base off the wall. There wasn't a stud where we needed to attach it, so I used liquid nails to attach it to the wall for extra strength. My wife still likes the mirror.

The optical quality of this mirror is really bad. The image of what I received was not entirely sharp. Also, I had this mirror next to the 3x mirror and Jerdon seemed to have a slightly LESS magnification, so it's not 5x at all. Although it's made of glass, it appears to be plastic. Finally, I cut my finger on the sharp edge on the metal backing behind the glass. Overall: a cheap imitation of someone else's design, not very well executed.
