I have bought these many times and although my husband and son say they are cheap the quality is excellent. The material is not thin, has a decent thickness. While it's not thermals I will say it's better than some thermals I've bought which were so thin I'm not sure if it will keep anyone warm but it will keep them warm and not thermals and that material it is permanent.
