Failed to Deliver: Disappointing Car Sensor

According to my experience, this sensor did not perform well at all. After installation, my car's fuel efficiency dropped significantly and I began experiencing engine misfires. The only positive aspect was that it was relatively easy to install. However, the negative impact on my car's performance makes it not worth the purchase.

Pros
  • Ease of installation
Cons
  • Decreased fuel efficiency and engine misfires

worth $. - Spares

If you want to spice up your engine and increase mileage, that's the trick, I also have a Stage 1 chip, a jet throttle body and a K&N filter. The difference between day and night.

Pros
  • Spares
Cons
  • Hard to say

Skeptical. good for MAF

I was very skeptical about spending $260 for this, but I did. Installed in 10 minutes on my 2006 Impala SS. I also have a K&N cold air intake and Magnaflow reverse system. With this addition, I notice a significant increase in performance at low and mid frequencies. I can't be 100% sure of the benefit of just adding this product or the sensor/inlet/outlet combo. Even when driving on the freeway with cruise control on, my instantaneous fuel economy fluctuated around 24-28. Now it fluctuates…

Pros
  • MAF
Cons
  • weak
