Fits TOAKS 750ml pot

I use this backpack. Perfect for my 750ml TOAKS pot. I heat the water in the TOAKS pot, pour the water into my coffee mug, add 2 heaped tablespoons of coffee to the TOAKS pot. Then pour the hot water from my mug back into the TOAKS pot. Let the coffee simmer for 2 minutes, stir gently, let it steep for another 2 minutes. Lower the TOAKS pot and pour into a coffee mug. I have very little bottom, but you can always wear a bandana over a coffee mug to filter out even more. It's way better than…

Does the job for coffee makers

I'll admit it really helped me on my trek, but there's definitely room for improvement. No matter how slowly I push the plunger, I inevitably get coffee. in my coffee. Not the end of the world, but definitely not as good as my French abs. Remember I used a very coarse grind from my ceramic burr mill. I would not recommend this for use with pre-ground coffee as it will be too fine. Overall it did the job and made delicious coffee that was a bit gritty. It fit nicely in my kerosene torch which is

Coffee press works great

I ordered my Jetboil coffee press for my Sumo Jetboil system from the Revain Bikewagon.com seller on the 26th June using standard shipping and it arrived today 28th June . This is fast delivery. I decided to give it a try today just to see how well this thing works before my next camping trip. Well this coffee press is perfect for my Sumo Jetboil system. It was so easy to use and made a great cup of coffee using my regular store ground coffee. There are absolutely no bases or leftovers in my…

There's no grinding teeth and it fits in a cup?

I used this little guy to make coffee for some army buddies on the back ramp of my Bradley car towards the end of the 16 day annual training. Some of them felt a tangible relief from the familiar comfort of Joe's cup. One guy even cried. Thanks to the hard points I gained that day, my military career is finally on track. If you've never used a French Press to brew coffee before, it's very simple. I even have one at home instead of an electric skillet. Heat water, add ground coffee, steep for…

Nice option for a coffee trip

This is a nice French press for your Jetboil (I use JB Flash). I've taken it on camping trips and hikes and am always glad I took it; On a cold morning there is nothing better than a fresh cup of coffee. It is lightweight and fits perfectly in the JB Cup. three problems First, some water may be needed for cleaning (which is a problem for people like me who have to carry all the water around because they travel to areas where there is no water source). Second, it allows a few grinds to end up in

Great once you've learned the technique!

I love this item! It could even filter very fine soil. It was a bit difficult to work with at first and I ended up drinking a lot of the thick stuff. These tips will really help: 1) As you can see in the picture, the bottom of the filter has small plastic tabs. When stored in a blast pot, they shrink a bit and don't fit the sides very well. I always carefully pry them out a little before use. This makes it a little harder to put back in the cup for use, but also filters a lot better! 2) Make…
