In the end I got another case. Not a big fan of the material they used on the top of the inside of the case itself. I have one with microfiber inside that looks better but was about double the price ($25) of this one. I will still use it for my old MacBook Air 13. I also don't like the way the bag is slim fitting rather than leaving room to move away from the main compartment itself.
