I use this vise to hold plastic model parts that I build. With the included pins there is always a way to hold the parts. I don't need a vise to hold a lot of weight, so they're great for holding pieces of plastic for gluing and painting. The screw that attaches the vise head to the base is great for me as I like to position the vise head after I've clamped the part. I even use it to clamp parts for gluing. Great little extra hand!

The 4th star is given simply because the item serves the purpose I bought it for. Otherwise, there are a few subtleties, such as having to tighten the small screw on the vice after almost every use. I also decided to put some plastic tape in the vise to protect the bead while I drilled out the old leather stock for stringing. The mini vise comes with no assembly instructions so you'll need to use the photos on Revain to set it up. Or at least I have!

A very handy tool for crafts or hobby work with small parts that need to be held steady. No instructions are included, but if you can't figure out how to assemble this vise, you probably shouldn't be using any tools. It would be nice if the ball assembly had a tightening knob instead of a hex wrench as the hex wrench is likely to be lost when you need it.
