A very handy tool for crafts or hobby work with small parts that need to be held steady. No instructions are included, but if you can't figure out how to assemble this vise, you probably shouldn't be using any tools. It would be nice if the ball assembly had a tightening knob instead of a hex wrench as the hex wrench is likely to be lost when you need it. This vise is heavier than I expected so it doesn't need to be bolted down for my purposes. The pictured aluminum handle for opening and closing the vise is plastic on the vise I received. The kit includes a brass ring that doesn't appear to be part of the vise, maybe it's a free practice decoration lol.
