Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the cheap rubber inside which fell apart after about 4 days. The seal sucked and didn't leak well after the rubber started to tear. BUT the lid itself is very nice and looks high quality. I paid $23.94 for it, so at least I don't have that much money.

I had this gas cap on my bike for 7 days and during those 7 days I only rode it for 1.5 hours before petrol leaked out from under the gas cap. I removed the cap and found the entire center of the gasket had fallen into my gas tank. An hour after removing the fuel hose, I was able to remove all remnants of the gasket from the tank. The lid itself, if it's nice and well made, the gasket falls apart. I read the reviews and took a chance. Trust me, don't do the same. Spend more and buy Tusk or…

Crazy to use a non fuel safe rubber piece on the gas cap! They did that here. I bought mine in December during the snowy months. Capped it on and it fitted perfectly, the threading was perfect and the seal was great. Go to past return period. I poured some gasoline into the tank and the gasket softened and immediately broke. If you are in the same situation as me, I found a solution. Although a bit expensive for a petrol tank. $20 for the cap plus $10 for a piece of fuel safe rubber. Found it…
