JFG RACING Carburetor Motorcycle Scooter Review

Fits my Piaggio BV200 but doesn't have coolant fittings to heat up the fuel but works fine if bypassed. I saved $200 over standard carbs.

Item arrived on time and worked perfectly. Highly recommended. Working with the support team was also uncomplicated. All questions asked were answered promptly. Much better than other third party items purchased before.

I installed this on a Gy6 150 with only an aftermarket muffler and air intake. Before that I rode at 47 mph, now I can hit 62 mph with a 220 lb rider. Had to use customer service and make some changes to get it right but it was worth it.

After I installed it and opened the valve on the fuel line, fuel started to flow out of the vent hole. Float stuck open. I took it apart and bent a small piece of metal that allows it to close as the float rises. The garage now smells of gasoline. Side by Side still won't start. I'm not sure what the next problem is.

I bought this carburetor after finding the same one on other sites for a higher price than this. I installed it on a 155cc Gy6 with a 58.5mm head and large valves. In order for it to fit I had to make it a rubber 30mm air intake rather than a metal one. The accelerator pump could be pushed under the engine mounting screw. My cloned Gy6 engine will not fit in a 250cc Hummer kart. The first problem was the motor mount bolt, which went from side to side. I removed both and replaced them with two shorter bolts to leave room for what I thought was the carburetor. The second issue was the physical size of the carburetor.
