Effective + easier to use than a clay block.

JIANFA Clay Mitten: I use NanoSkin Detailer as a lubricant. Step One: Work in a cool, shady area. No heatstroke needed! A fairly simple process of washing and rinsing the treated area. Spray the lube onto the glove and work surface. Apply light pressure evenly to the area, spraying on more lube if needed. Wash and dry, then treat with regular polish, sealer, etc. Wash the glove lightly in a car wash and rinse. Leave to dry in a cool place.

Enormous time savings. Suitable for sponges and mittens

I've always used traditional clay sticks, but I came across these clay threads and was intrigued. I had a car that needed a proper paint job so I gave it a try and will probably never use it again except for hard building and spot cleaning. It cut my sculpting time by at least 1/3. I used lots of clay lubricant (Wolfgang Uber) and rinsed the glove frequently to keep it clean. After boxing the entire car the glove still looks new and I've seen it hold up a few times.

When and when not suitable for car care

This is an acceptable plasticine with. It works well. Just don't use it on the hotbar; it can start to stick and ruin the paint. Use it in low temperatures or cool panels. It's better than the expensive ones. All you have to do is don't press too hard and have a good clay lube like ONR's 8oz Thinner. per gallon and now you have $4 to $6 clay lube. Take your time and have fun. This is tedious work. But when you're done, you can now polish your car's paintwork and get more shine and shine.

Great Product - Exterior Care

I was a little hesitant to read some of the reviews but this clay glove was fantastic. I would say use lots of spray lube and don't apply pressure, let the glove do all the work. I noticed that the black part picks up particles stuck to my machine. So be careful and wipe the glove with a towel from time to time and keep it clean, especially after working in areas where it could get stuck high. Just feeling the color before and after is a huge difference, so much smoother.

if you still use clay bars. Hi. This is the stop of 2019.

This is a really great product. Don't spend any more money on clay bars! I have so many random parts that I've been trying to track them down for use in different vehicles. then different brands, strengths, etc., oh, that's just annoying. then I finally bought a clay glove (after ages) and I want to smack myself for not buying it sooner. and this particular product was a good buy. Excellent quality glove so far and does what it says on the tin at a reasonable price (at the time of my purchase).

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Having problems

Works perfectly. I read some of the reviews. i feel sorry for you I used this glove with Chemical Guys Lube. I did it at 7am in the morning, 58 degrees. and no direct sun. Use lube and apply light pressure. Let the glove and the phonogram do their job. You don't have to click on it. Use back and forth motions and wipe with a microfiber towel. You can carefully remove the pollution. That way you'll know what you've done by feel. You can feel when the paint is free from contamination. Great…

Replaces thin/light clay in almost every situation

Now using my second of these "Clay Bar Glove" and have used several other brands in the past The local supplier didn't sell them anymore so I had to jump on Revain to find a quick replacement. It looks like another brand our supplier carried but it's half the price. I use it in the wash hall with a rather slippery detergent soap (rare and a special fat for clay) after washing the surface. This is not very good for very heavy spraying of paint but great for removing normal build up etc from the…
