Really good lens for the money

I've been using this lens for about a week with my Canon m50 to photograph things around my house and the quality is really good. I had to go in and change some settings on my camera to make it work with this lens (basically the camera thinks the lens isn't attached so you have to set it up to shoot without a lens). But once I set everything up, everything worked perfectly! You have to manually adjust the aperture and focus, but the image quality is worth it.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Easily repairable

At first I was concerned. Build quality seemed a little underwhelming and not super tight, but once I started filming it did. Impressive sharpness with buttery smooth background blur that's so appealing with those wide open lenses. There is a learning curve here. but once you get over it, it will be a lot of fun to use! brings back the feeling of photography and the endorphin rush when you get the settings and focus right and get that super sharp subject with that amazing buttery background!

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

In camera lenses

This is a good lens but it has its issues in my opinion, the build quality of the lens isn't amazing, it feels plasticky, the aperture values are almost all non-standard which can be a bit annoying when trying to get hold of it a perfect exposure. My lens also focuses at infinity, which means it will focus beyond infinity and just get blurry again. I don't know if this is a quality control issue or if it was designed that way on purpose, but that's not what a lens is supposed to do with manualโ€ฆ

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Everything is fine There are other interesting options.

A good compact semi-budget lens.

This brings me back to my Nikon FE 1.4 aperture priority, which I still have but don't use. For example, by adjusting the depth of field using the aperture settings, you can blur or reduce the background to increase the depth of field. There's no image stabilization, so you'll need to use it more often to mount it on a tripod if you want to shoot video. Image sharpness is more than acceptable for a lens that costs less than half the price of a Canon equivalent. It comes with a storage bagโ€ฆ

  • Comfortable

JINTU 85mm F1.8 Telephoto Lens

This is my first review of the JINTU 85mm F1.8 Telephoto Lens and I will update when I use it. Decent lens, good build quality, sharp image enough, lacks autofocus but it's very easy to use and very easy to set up, everything about it feels premium and eye-catching, it was packaged very well and there was no hard plastic packaging to contend with could, which is always a plus. Arrived without damage. Worked as intended with no crashes or issues, used it almost daily and it seems very durableโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Slim Design
Cons
  • Lots of Stuff

Pretty good fast lens for the price

Good - Price - Aperture - Stopped aperture Poor - Very little movement between lens and camera - There is some noticeable aberration on both my Canon 90D and 6D Mark II, after When attaching a lens there is very little movement between the lens and the cameras. I noticed because I heard a very faint noise when changing the aperture, which made me look for the source, thinking it was the aperture ring, but I noticed the lens moving. The movement is tiny, but it's still there. Aberrations can beโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

I was surprised at how compact this lens is for its capabilities. This is a fully manual lens with a manual iris, so you need to be careful when focusing, especially on close subjects. Also, tilting the body forwards or backwards can change the focus at maximum aperture because the depth of field is very shallow. Of course, you can lower the aperture for deeper, smoother focus at the expense of bokeh and background isolation. Drawstring bag, microfiber cloth and lens grip, and caps for bothโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
