Holly Fire Hazard!: LED Bulbs

We had to replace over 100 bulbs on our boat and tested them with ten packs first. Everything seemed to work great so we order 80 more bulbs. After we replaced them all, a continuous cascade of lightbulbs burned. The price is definitely too good to be true and if you're interested in not burning your RV or boat to the bottom then it probably isn't the best investment. We now pack all the bulbs out and send them back, it's just not worth the risk.

Great light - turns on instantly

I bought these to replace the 20w halogen bulbs under the hood over my cooker. The light switch has three positions: half light, full light and off. These bulbs work perfectly in all three modes - they turn on instantly, can be turned on at half brightness, and go out instantly. No noise, great light. They are longer than halogen bulbs so I would suggest making sure they fit. I also liked that each bulb comes in its own little box - great for storage.

Great replacement for Ikea shelf lighting.

We have some old IKEA "washing" lamps on an old IKEA bookshelf. Conventional halogen lamps burned out at an exasperating rate. After checking the stock of halogen bulbs, we found that they are no longer at IKEA. I looked for alternative sources but didn't want to deal with the same crashes. I also didn't want to pull out the bookshelf to replace the lighting with something new (LEDs). So I looked for a replacement for the G4 LED and found products from JKLcom.
