We have some old IKEA "washing" lamps on an old IKEA bookshelf. Conventional halogen lamps burned out at an exasperating rate. After checking the stock of halogen bulbs, we found that they are no longer at IKEA. I looked for alternative sources but didn't want to deal with the same crashes. I also didn't want to pull out the bookshelf to replace the lighting with something new (LEDs). So I looked for a replacement for the G4 LED and found products from JKLcom. The nice thing is that they are 1:1 replacements in terms of fit and functionality. I even left the old halogens and just swapped out one bulb for a new LED to see if the significantly better half could tell the difference. She could not. All 20 halogens were replaced with JKLcom LEDs and have been working great ever since. This decision saved a lot of nerves and time.
