When they arrived I was impressed with the thicker fabrics and thought they could really handle my busy nephew. My nephew refused to wear them. I don't like the landing. There's too much material at the waist and there's too much gathering at the elastic and I agree with him, it looks like he's wearing toddler pants. He's 9 years old so the toddler pants look doesn't work.

The pants are well made, functional and look very comfortable. It has multiple pockets and a zipper for easy on and off. The only downside is that they are too big for my almost 5 year old. He usually wears a size larger than his age, but unfortunately he won't be able to wear these pants for at least a year or two. Otherwise it's a great pair of pants.

Our slim twins will soon be 10-12 years old. We bought them as a next step, 14-16, and it was too big of a jump. He won't adjust them for at least another year. In terms of length, they almost match their 5ft 7in mother. Although the description says 'Cargo' I assumed the fabric was a little looser due to the cut, but it's still quite stiff. Maybe a few washes will loosen up. All in all, a good look for school or social events, but not the laid-back attire we were hoping for around the house.
