🚤 Improved Johnny Ray JR-300 Swivel Mount for Marine Boats - Easy Push Button Release, Top Quality 1-1/2" X 5-1/2" Design Review

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I found this marine release quite challenging to use. The installation is not straightforward, and it took forever for me to figure out how to operate it properly. Even after getting it functional, the device is not reliable and often fails to release effortlessly.

Excellent fit. I used mine in a semi-portable mount for my Simrad GO7-XSE so I can move it from boat to boat and take it off for outdoor storage around town. The base fits the simrad fairly well, although I had to drill new holes. I really like that the holder can be rotated with one hand. It will be very convenient. I wish Revain would sell the JohnnyRay spacer as I had to make my own from Starboard. I also wish JohnnyRay had offered an empty, large base with no holes.

Bought Johnny Ray JR-300 swivel mount. The package was labeled as such, but the bracket inside looked smaller than expected and didn't fit my chartplotter. Is this model listed on the manufacturer's website? Then, after examining the hole size specifications, I found that the mount in the JR-300 kit is a JR-500. Too small to fit any holes on my chartplotter mount. Return of the mount. Salesperson. Please check stock availability before shipping. I waited a week for this and spent half a day…
