This is a little different from other hair masks. The texture and consistency was a bit odd at first but once you apply it to your hair it does a good job of light conditioning and makes my hair just look and feel great. It's kind of a slimy feel, more like a gel. , and applying it may seem strange as it doesn't feel like a regular conditioning mask. I love the Joico Defy Damage Conditioner but not so much this one. It seems watered down... As if I need to use it that often. The smell is good... I don't like it, I don't hate it at all. At this price I should definitely love how my hair looks after using it. I won't buy this again.

I thought it was a leave-in conditioner but it's not. This is an after-shampoo product that must be left on before rinsing off. I'm not sure what to do in the shower for 5 minutes. Although I liked the product. The smell is amazing, the hair afterwards became noticeably softer. I wouldn't buy it again for the price but I'm glad I stumbled across it.
