It's great for most cheeses and I love the size.

Suitable for most cheeses and I like the size of the pieces. Just don't use it for very hard cheeses. I broke the handle on my first one trying to grate very hard parmesan! Jo!e stainless steel grater

  • Cool

Fake Joie Grater - Kitchen and Dining

I am only giving 3 stars because it looks like a decent product but it is a FAKE grater. I have had my Joie for 9 years and she is strong and of the best quality. It doesn't even have a brand name on it. The one I got is cheap and not durable.

Pros
  • These are amazing
Cons
  • little things

It broke with light use.

I've been using this grater for over a year and occasionally use it to grate garlic cloves. Today the plastic handle in my hand broke off while using it. I don't remember dropping it, but it looked like it had jumped before. Looks like a manufacturing defect. It will be replaced with a better one.

Pros
  • High test scores for grip and durability
Cons
  • Crumpled

That was my problem and easy to fix. I hold the end of the grater.

I have ordered three based on my previous experience with them. They grate hard-boiled eggs, pickles, olives, celery, etc. very effectively as they grate in both directions. They don't rust and stay sharp. I broke one of these at the bottom of the handle (as others have reported) because I placed the end of the grater on a cutting board and pressed the center of the grater too hard. For me, this was my problem and an easy fix. I keep the end of the grater off the cutting board.

Pros
  • How everything before
Cons
