Nice detail, more of this please.

This mold worked well with gum paste. Make extra details as the tail joint area is thin. Try making this area a little thicker to help.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Damaged

Suitable for fondant in confectionery supplies

Works best with gum paste or fondant with Tyloce/CMC powder added. I dried in the oven at 170 until it hardened. I tried chocolate and the legs and tail broke, it didn't work.

Pros
  • Useful beyond intended use
Cons
  • Some problems

Not worth it - bakeware

This is a really good product but the size makes up for it being very small so if you try to remove or separate it it comes out in small pieces - > You will never have a piece of beautiful shape

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Only available in white

Good size and detail

The horses were perfect for my carousel cake! The only complaint is that the tails are nearly impossible to hold once unraveled. I just had to glue them back with melted chocolate so it's no big deal.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Glad you have it! in kitchen and dining room

Used with white polymer clay. I used a release agent before putting the clay in and it worked great! I haven't done this yet, but plan on painting the carousel horse before using it as a decoration on a flat surface.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Negative gift

fine but unstable tail.

My only concern is that the tail tends to fall off as it is not thick enough to be stable with the rest of the horse. Other than that, it's a beautiful depiction of a horse. I just wish I had a mirror of this to make a thicker and more stable standalone version (to be able to join two mating sides).

Pros
  • Comfortable

Good Horses: Candy Making Supplies

This mold worked pretty well with white chocolate. I tried all sorts of ways to keep the legs and tail from breaking when I took it out of the mold. I ended up just using melted chocolate to reattach the broken legs and tail after it came out of the mold. Maybe fudge works better, but it doesn't taste as good.

Pros
  • Decent Effort
Cons
  • Makes Me Angry
