I have to say I think these combs are worth the price. It's hard to explain, but they just feel good on the scalp. I understand they are for synthetic hair but I love how these brushes work on my own hair too. I will be buying more just to have on hand and as I tend to lose my combs easily. I only take one set for my own hair plus one set for any synthetic hair I buy. Good job with the combs, John Renau!

Great comb. I am losing my hair due to an injury and an allergy to PPD in hair dye. This comb is ideal for gently detangling tangles, especially when used vertically. Very good value for money. Three combs, one can be given to a friend.

Ever since I lost my hair to chemo I've been wearing wigs and the brushes are too big to carry around. I found other Shijo tooth combs that claimed to be for wigs, but they weren't (they worked better on real wet hair). I wear long wings and they tend to be wavy/curly. That means I have to comb it more often than usual. While I can just use my fingers in a pinch, a comb works better (more thoroughly). I like the fact that the comb has a nice wide tooth spacing. One side of the handle is smooth while the other side is recessed to hold the comb more securely.
