The mat looks exactly like the picture. I was having an issue before where pots would block the drain and not allow water down. With this mat, I can not put pots in the sink without worrying about the water flow being blocked. There is the added benefit of having a soft surface for dishes as well.

I like this sink protector because it’s slightly elevated from the surface, unlike others like the one I currently have, that lay flat on the surface allowing food particles to be trapped underneath. I also like that it’s made of soft silicone, so I know it’s durable, and safe from scratching my stainless sink. Perfect size for my sink - about 18x12.5 inches. It fits perfectly over the drain, leaving me access to the strainer basket. I used to use a towel to put in the bottom of the sink when doing heavy pots, stove grates, etc that scratch the surface of the sink. Also good idea from one reviewer, to use on side of sink to let washed dishes dry. It would circulate air underneath to dry more quickly. I would put a towel underneath.

I bought a decent older home that hadn't been updated in probably 20 years. Everything is in need of updating but unfortunately, it'll all have to be done in time. Our white enamel sink has a old, unsightly patch and is constantly getting scuffed from pots and pans. This will stop all the scuffing and even camouflages the patch until we can get it replaced. I guess I was a bit off when I measured my sink, the 18.2'x 12.5' is a bit too large as my sink is apparently smaller at the bottom.Just a bit of a trim on each end and it now fits fine and the hole in the center still lines up.I would recommend.

This is easy to clean, durable, and versatile, because it can actually be used in the oven if you would like. You can use these as trivet for hot things on your countertop as well. The only issue that I had with it personally is that this was too big for my sink so I will be using it for other things, but that doesn’t go against the product itself. Got this to put in my rental units’ sink, just as an extra way to protect it. It’s a nice design and doesn’t look bad sitting there. It also fit just right. Being silicone it should be easy to clean.

It fits perfectly in my sink! It's a soft silicone rubber, so it's not going to mark my sink and won't let dishes do so either.My last one was a clear rubber and so it showed all kinds of stains even if it was clean. This one is a darker grey, so hopefully won't do that. I definitely recommend.

This mat keeps my pots and pans off the bottom of the sink preventing any more scratches to them which I love. However, any time something gets stuck between holes in the mat, it's a hassle to clean, and the mat slides around quite a bit.
