When I tried this wall light, I was really impressed with its versatility. The adjustable spotlight allows me to easily direct the light where I need it, making it perfect for reading in bed or working at my desk. This light is too cold/white like a fluorescent lamp. Other than that, it does what I need with a face switch and directional light, but could do much better with warmer light to match other typical residential lighting temperatures.

We installed two of these lights in the reading corner by the window. They are well made, feel nice and heavy and are of high quality. Installation was straightforward - attach the backplate to our 4" round boxes, wire and screw the main unit onto the tabs on the backplate to adjust to stay level. The backlight creates a pleasant atmosphere and the spotlight can be steered over the shoulder for reading. They are bright enough for our needs. My only minor complaint is that the light is a bit…
