Good product but the pictures do not match what you get

These measuring cups work as expected and the material looks solid. BUT the product picture on the Amazon page did NOT match what I received. One of the reasons I bought this product was because the markings on the mugs were easy to read, or at least the way they were designed helps you identify the measurement of each mug. But the font is so small and the way the mugs are labeled makes it difficult to read. So if you plan on adding this product to your gift list, be sure to add a magnifyingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • So far so good

A frustrating case where design overrides functionality. To make this colorful set of metric measuring cups look great when glued together, the designers compromised on the most important thing about measuring cups: dimensions. Measures 1 cup, 1/2 cup and 1/3 cup make approximately 20ml. Oversized. (That's about two-thirds of a fluid ounce for non-metric readers.) Meanwhile, the volume of a 1/4 cup is relatively small, and the cup weighs empty when empty (the handle is very long). So stupid. Iโ€ฆ

Great measures! - Kitchen and dining room

What a phenomenal package! I love it. And here's why:+ The colors really stand out: no need to double-check the labels, as soon as you set aside a teaspoon you'll remember it, with a canteen just by color if you're the type who always double-checks want to review (like me)+ They REALLY stick together: So many measures try to sort themselves out somehow - and fail. It's not like this; The bars are strong but not bulky, making them very self-sorting. They don't feel cheap and they don't lookโ€ฆ

Love the way it looks - the labels are hard to see

I originally bought a set of mixing bowls (Joseph Joseph 40087 Nest 9 Nesting Bowls Set with Mixing Bowls, Measuring Cups, Strainer, 9pc Multi Colored) , but needed more options for baking spoons (in the mixing set, the smallest spoon size is tablespoon/teaspoon) and in this set, the smallest spoon is 1/4 teaspoon. Here's what I think: - Great for baking - A little tricky to hold together but you get used to it - Really hard to read the dimensions but after a few uses you'll *may* rememberโ€ฆ

Cute but Nasty Best in Meters and Scales

You know that feeling when you're at a friend's house and their adorable dog is acting like a total demon? Here's how I feel about it. It's cute, but I won't take it home. After a few snaps/openings (less than a dozen) they wouldn't hold together and the whole thing started to sag no matter what I did. Over time, most likely, all this will not close. For me there is nothing more annoying than having these things scattered all over a box. That's the whole idea of the compact design. If itโ€ฆ
