I received this in green (my favorite color!) and the case has a slit on one side, not the clasp and hinge hole I was expecting. Although I love it otherwise! The magnetic knife really helps hold everything together and as long as you don't roughly push the utensils into the container there's little chance of ripping them apart. What a nice set of reusable crockery! I don't know how I lived without her. You get a strong fork, spoon and knife that are magnetically connected and housed in a silicone sleeve. The silicone sleeve is open on one side, allowing air to circulate if your cutlery is still damp after cleaning. The quality is very good. The silicone case attracts dust, lint, hair, etc. To stop the attraction, wipe it and the knife's silicone handle with white vinegar, anti-static wipes, or some fabric softener. I really like this cutlery set. After years of buying plastic cutlery (and accumulating an extra 300 plastic knives that I never use), I decided to limit my waste and buy something that can easily be washed and reused. I like that they are magnetic and blend well together. I'm a bit annoyed to put it back in the silicone case as it's very tight and looks like it might tear (it hasn't ripped yet so I might just be reconsidering).
