The suction cup on this sink cart won't work no matter how hard you try to seal it and the top 'lip' catching on the edge of the sink is also not strong enough to hold it. No matter what you do, it just crashes after an hour or so. I have a large rectangular stainless steel sink with no rounded parts to interfere with the vacuum seal. This is a well made quality product, it has been almost 4 years since I bought it and it still works like the first day. I really like the design which makes it very stable and doesn't let it slip. The suction cups are very strong, it has never fallen off in 4 years of use. It easily holds a sponge and brush and you can also use it to hang up cleaning rags or gloves to dry.
