You have to skip every other slot in order for your knives to actually fit. As for cutlery storage, again not impressed. It also needs to be less "hollow" and almost flat to fit properly. If you have a heavier set of knives and something other than the cheapest silver, look elsewhere for storage ideas.

Overall I like this product, I give it a 4.5. Looks beautiful, especially in cream. Things to improve: Shallow pockets mean my spoons have to be stacked to match their thickness, so you have to figure out which spoon is on top, or you'll pull out the whole stack and even then you'll have to pull out at an awkward angle.
