They aren't the best cutlery organizers

Although the divider takes up less space, it really doesn't fit as many kitchen knives as advertised. Unless your knife set has almost entirely flat handles. You have to skip every other slot in order for your knives to actually fit. As for cutlery storage, again not impressed. It also needs to be less "hollow" and almost flat to fit properly. If you have a heavier set of knives and something other than the cheapest silver, look elsewhere for storage ideas.

Space Saving Compartment

This item looks so much like an apartment building, often saves on the homeowner's design that I end up losing most of what I needed to fit in the new location, even though it is at me will be what - At this time, cutlery is almost always with you, so an organizer is a must. I think if I had two sets of my type of cutlery it would work fine, but I have one set that causes enough problems. Yes, it could probably be trimmed into different designs to offer more space, and yes, it could be…

Great solution for a small IKEA kitchen!

Tray organizer is a great choice for a small kitchen with limited drawer space. If you are familiar with IKEA kitchens and their "hidden" drawers in the drawers, you will understand how flat the room is. IKEA's custom organizer tray has been replaced with a Joseph Joseph tray for a more compact and convenient addition (the IKEA tray has been reused in the main drawer - see photos). With the extra space provided by the Joseph Joseph tray, I was able to move other cooking utensils into the hidden

  • Good but not great

EASY TO BUY: A kitchen drawer must have.

The kitchen drawer was a mess and the existing organizer was a waste of space. I stumbled across this and read the reviews but decided to try it myself. Two words: BUY. I wish we had had this many years ago. It fits so much into a small space, so effectively. We have a full service for 8 people in a room that is two rows or dishes from our previous system. It makes ingenious use of the limited vertical space found in typical kitchen drawers. Only downside, negligible compared to the efficient…

Good with minor imperfections

Overall I like this product, I give it a 4.5. Looks beautiful, especially in cream. Things to improve: Shallow pockets mean my spoons have to be stacked to match their thickness, so you have to figure out which spoon is on top, or you'll pull out the whole stack and even then you'll have to pull out at an awkward angle. Mainly an issue with my large spoons as the small ones can be tipped and stacked in layers. Also, inside the bags there are parts that protrude on both sides (indicated by…

Great space saver, happens to be more expensive than gray now

Updated a year later: They're still great! We solved the problem of not being able to see which thing was which by simply storing all the descriptors first. Turn your forks and spoons upside down. Our drawer would not close when the forks were upright. We just (finally) got a new cutlery set and it fits well. Since this is a 12 person service I wanted to check before ordering a third organizer. I'm upset because I paid $9.99 each last year and now this color is just over $17 at the time of this

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Sad packaging
