There are 4 indentations on the lid which you might expect to match the bumps on the bottom. One would expect, but there are no bulges on the underside. errors. Another thing is they appear to be good and seal well enough to keep dust and stuff out. You can't use them to protect something you can take with you in the rain.

Exactly what I was looking for! Perfect size for storing different toys. Our kids playroom is always a mess, especially with small toys, but now everything looks organized thanks to these bins and the clutter is easier to keep. Very happy with this purchase. My only criticism is that they were pretty hard to spot when they arrived. I'm not sure if it was just user error but I spent a lot of time taking them all apart, it seemed like they were almost glued together. But otherwise very satisfied.
