is NOT a direct replacement for standard plastic door holders. It won't work without some modifications to the product or my camper, not sure if it's worth the effort.

The product does NOT correspond to the plastic model. The spring will NOT allow the swing to reverse making it inconsistent with my door swinging. The screw holes do NOT match the plastic parts.

Easy to install. It's not just for a door that opens to the right. I had to cut the spring off and just let the tee hang down when not in use. Would upload a photo BUT freedom of speech seems a bit redacted these days (fan feedback).

the perfect replacement for the plastic that is bullshit. The plastic broke the first day, I replaced it and it lasted 2 days. I'm in Texas and maybe it's too hot for plastic. This METAL is perfect. I wish it was easier to find. I recommend it as a replacement for plastic.

This door holder is not universal. If you look closely at the picture it has a spring which is why it doesn't work properly on my door. The spring seems pretty strong so I'm going to install it upside down hoping the spring will hold it in place. If that doesn't work, I just cut the feather off and let it hang down like my other one did before.

Mounted on my Coleman 1625 RB trailer. Replaced the broken plastic. It has a left door. That's how it shows up. Unlike the old one that fell under gravity. You'll also need to turn the receiver upside down for it to snap into place. Everything came without any changes. The supplied screws were too long for the door. So I used the existing screws on the door.
