Retrofitted the water inlet valve in the old town on our motorhome. I like the large knurled handle. Make your hose connection easy and secure without using pliers to tighten the connection.

When I removed mine I found I had a small rock between the seal and the piston. Managed to remove it. put it back on Now I have a backup in case of the next failure.

Prosuce is beautiful and corresponds to the description. Ease of installation. We are sorry that the goods were delivered to a neighbor who was away for 2 weeks. I didn't find out until I exhausted my efforts to recover.

I had to lengthen the mounting holes as they were a bit wider than the original. never mind The metal isn't very strong, but I don't think it's necessary if it's being mounted on the side of the camper. Very important. Not ideal, but works well for my application.

It was just the part I needed, like good material, didn't fall apart. I had a problem with that. I bought it wanting to install it and the length of the back was not as long as my original piece. So it fits the circle perfectly and all, but I had to get a hose extension to connect it to the hose or it won't do, fixed, no more leaks. So keep that in mind when buying!

This unit replaced the old city plumbing on my 1978 Dodge camper. The old connection was severed last winter. This novelty fits perfectly and requires only one additional part - a 1/2" male pipe adapter. A pipe adapter is available in the plumbing section of any good hardware store. Design as the device it replaces. I will be using it later this week at the Feast of Tabernacles give it a try it looks good, fits right in and I would recommend it to anyone with a vintage Dodge camper!
