This T4 is perfect for a 1994 GMC/Chevy A/C light.

I used this on my 1994 GMC C1500 A/C light. This should apply to many GMT400 platforms. For some reason, many YouTubers and websites advise using T5 bulbs. It fits perfectly without any adjustments. If your air conditioner looks like what I wrote, this bulb will work. They don't seem to point the way either. All 3 worked for me.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Negative gift

Excellent, note that unlike incandescent bulbs they have polarity.

Perfect for my 1998 and 2002 Accord. My dashboard lit up again. They 2 out of 3 didn't work the first time. but I thought they were LEDs, and LEDs have polarity, so I pulled out the non-working ones and rotated them 180 to set the polarity, and back. Boom, they caught fire too. If you notice that some or all of them are not working. You probably installed them the wrong way round. Get them right and you'll be fine.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Don't really like it's ok

Works, but not for all applications

I think it works. But many of the buttons and displays it's installed in must accept emitted light, not directional diode light. If the diode isn't pointing in the right direction, no matter how bright the light, not much light will illuminate the switch. Many of the headlights it was built into were very dim. It would be better if they tilted the diodes slightly to emit more light instead of pointing them straight in one direction.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Extremely tight fit

They fit the dimensions of a T4.2 lamp but the wire used as the electrical contactor is thicker than standard making the lamps VERY, VERY, VERY difficult to screw into the PCB socket . The plastic screw slot on the lamp is not strong enough not to deform when you try to fix it with a screwdriver. I used blunt mini pliers to grab the rim of the bulb and even then it was tough. I hope they aren't so tight that they ripped the copper trace off the board. I hope I never have to take them off to…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Small

Poor heat dissipation - LEDs are not white

Replaced burned out air conditioning bulbs on a 2006 Honda Odyssey. Pros - Brighter than halogen Easy to install flat head screwdriver. The LEDs are polarized - if they don't light up, remove the bulb, rotate it 180 degrees and reinsert it. Also, incandescent bulbs don't scatter light as well as halogen bulbs. Some keys/knobs are well lit while others are dim. On the Odyssey, however, dimming is acceptable and the control panel remains legible. Note - "White" LEDs have a blue tint, not white as

  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Protection

Very bright but difficult to install

Compared to the original they are indeed very bright lamps. The original, however, was a tubular bulb that fitted easily. They had me shake the radio a bit because of its square shape and poke it with a small screwdriver to finally get it through a small hole, but it didn't work as the polarity only worked on the other side. So I have to do it all over again. But none of my pears were bad. They fade, but only slightly. I live in the suburbs mixed with dark rural mountain roads and unfortunately

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Do not buy if you want a quality checked product

Installed 5 of these on my 2012 Honda Accord. The first four worked fine, but when I installed the fifth all the lights went out. Apparently poor quality control during production led to a short and burned circuit in my air conditioning module. Now even the old light bulbs no longer work due to a short circuit. I contacted the seller who told me to put a larger fuse which was totally irrelevant to my situation and even dangerous as increased voltage in the wiring could cause the wiring to…
