A few days later I had to change some lightbulbs on the dash and BAM! They fit into these tiny sockets on the back. Wow! thought they were going into the tool box. They began to dim and flicker. The plastic became dry and brittle and the whole set had to be replaced.

Bought these to replace turn signals on a motorcycle. During the day it was difficult to see the stock 1.7W bulbs (even 3.4W on the high beam indicator). They are much brighter and I can see all the indicators clearly during the day and they DO NOT blind me at night. A few extras for those interested: The lamp is a single SMD5050 lens that runs on 3V and draws 30mA. Installed in a 2000 Toyota Avalon, 30 bulbs. They work, give the dashboard a nice light blue colour. Only the ones plugged into the socket one way will work, if they don't burn, remove and rotate 180 degrees. You need to be careful when you install them, the base is like mini christmas lights with led wires coming out of 2 holes at the bottom. A few years ago I bought a 2003 Honda CR-V and a couple of lights on the dash went out. I used them to replace them all thinking I'd never have to take apart a dash again as LEDs tend to last a lot longer than incandescent bulbs. Well, almost immediately they started dying, and I gradually replaced them with others that I never used.
