The large buttons and especially the three programmable one-touch buttons for storing numbers and making calls (most phones require the user to use at least two different buttons, to make calls). great for my observation of problem parents. The main problem is that the microphone seems to have a very short range, so they are often difficult to hear on the other end of the line.

We bought this phone to have an inexpensive corded speakerphone for business calls around the home. We got what we paid for. The speakerphone works, but once you turn off the speakerphone during a call, you can't go back. So basically useless. If you're looking for a cheap wired phone, this will work. But if you are looking for a cheap speakerphone then this phone is NOT for you!
