Well in the past... It's garbage and dangerous.

I had an old Julbo glacier goggle that lasted for years.... Then I bought a new pair, the eyecup clip bent and broke in a year... I thought it was an accident. Bought this pair as a spare. They came out of the box with a bent plastic clip, ready to break. If you put them on cover sheets, they catch the eye. Seriously, this is a terrible design/product. Julbo used to make high quality goggles, they are junk and indeed potentially dangerous if let go and broken with the eyes.

Outdoor durability

Plastic tabs hold skin to sides. The design doesn't look solid and broke shortly after receiving the glasses. The frames are lightweight and flexible, yet strong. The lens (Spektrum 3) is made of plastic and hasn't held up even after just over a year of use. The fit is very comfortable and the ear loops have a great fit thanks to the adjustable ear loops. I wouldn't buy them again but with a little improvement they would be good points.

Looks and feels cheap

This product comes with cheap packaging and only one sunglass case. It's a good lens but for the price of these glasses I don't think it's worth it. It covers the sides from the sun and the top between the eyes, but the ground doesn't cover it, and the sun in the snow reflects through it. I compared lens clarity and VLT% with another cheap one. I bought from Revain and they had about the same clarity and VLT%. Just think of a way to close the sides of your sunglasses to protect them from the…

Good but could be better

First of all I like my Julbo glasses. I've been wearing them for many years. They changed every time I bought them. This is my fifth or sixth pair, they have served me for five or six years and I treat them roughly. I've bought every pair before at REI. If it matters, I don't know. Pros: * I like the nose change. There should be more support than older models. The old rubber just didn't hold up after a few years. *The description says the lenses are polarized. In previous years there were none.

Pros: Blocks most of the light! Even (especially) that pesky light that hits the perfect angle and ensures you can see your eyeball and all your sebaceous glands reflecting back at you in super HD zoom! - Great lenses, color and clarity are addictive even if they are a bit bright and let in too much light. The reflective color is very attractive. Solid frame. Not a problem here, but I would keep an eye on the flex ends, seems like they might fall apart after a while. Real leather, not that $10…
