I had no problem installing hardware or adding drivers by following the instructions on the Revain product page for this small case and display combo. I've been trying to run this setup for 4 days and the instructions are scattered everywhere, at least for me. There are no "Raspbian Buster" files on the Raspberry Pi official page and I can't find this screen. Used in all YouTube video tutorials. If you are reading this review I would focus on the screen where you will find clear and concise instructions.

I originally gave this a very low score because after two weeks of work I still couldn't get the screen to work. Eventually I got it working by downloading Kali's version with the drivers pre-installed. I haven't tried Rasbian yet. Probably a lot easier. Anyway it works. The case doesn't close very well and I still haven't gotten the touchscreen to work with touch, but for the price it's worth it.

The screen works and it's definitely a cool hat on the Pi. However, after installing the drivers and switching from HDMI to touchscreen, the bluetooth isn't found anywhere. Tried several workarounds to no avail. But for the price it's worth it.

I like the case and how everything fits. The problem I'm having is that my screen is still white even after installing the drivers using the method provided in the instructions. I don't know how to fix this and I've pretty much exhausted everything I can think of so this is a real bummer because I really liked the case and the screen. The screen is fine. It has terrible resolution but I expected it. However, the fan is junk and was still making a whirring noise weeks after receiving it. Aggravating.

The screen just stays white. Load the latest Radian Buster onto my 4g rasp 4. Tried with different 4's to no avail. The board works with HDMI. We'll see a replacement. Added driver for the screen, which is now displayed correctly. know how to set up simultaneous use of 3.5 and HDMI? Even if I turn off the screen, I can't connect my desktop to HDMI.

Works well with the Pi 4, and the addition of a fan and heatsinks is a nice bonus as the Pi 4 tends to run on the warm side (no touchscreen bug). I'm only deducting 1 star for the lack of instructions.

Damaged the micro SD card because the sleeve made it difficult to eject the SD card directly (yes, you can tether the SD card a little. The sleeve tethered me a lot). The screen works great after spending a few hours troubleshooting the installation. The provided instructions broke 4 operating systems (both Rasbian and Kali for Pi). I would install the drivers and the Pi would not reboot. So I followed the instructions on the website. Same results. So if you buy this, make sure you install it on a fresh operating system and back up all important data. you will lose it I've found that the easiest way to install drivers is to not use kalipi-tft-config.
