Review on JUN-ELECTRON 3.5 inch Raspberry Touchscreen Display Monitor, 320X480 Resolution - E361 by Matt Mania

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Know what you are buying.

Keep in mind that this is a 3.5 inch screen with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. You cannot see the entire desktop. Applications will be disabled. connection permissions. This means that all physical screen limitations are passed to the VNC viewer. You'll need to switch back to HDMI to do anything that requires full desktop access. Even when using the stylus, the touch point on the screen didn't match the mouse movements for me. I still haven't figured out how to fix this. But I don't use it as a touchscreen and it's not a priority for my project. It looks like the case doesn't provide adequate cooling (even with a fan and heatsinks). I'm just running a basic crypto coin ticker and the Pi is between 57 and 60 degrees Celsius in an air conditioned environment at 22.22 degrees Celsius. It's a handy little screen once you know its limitations; It works for me because I intend to build. It can be a cryptocurrency or a stock ticker. This screen can work well as a clock or as some sort of home surveillance system if you can set the stylus to show coordinates.
