Type of review

Just what I needed for my new inexpensive replacement sewing machine while there's a good one in the store. The standby machine has no memory. I like to pre-wind a few spools before a big project so I can get on with my work instead of having to stop every few feet to wind another spool. This rack keeps my coils from becoming cat food on the floor.

Not very sturdy

I chose this bobbin stand because it was made by June Tailor and was made in the USA. As you can see from the picture, this is not done here. It's small but I didn't want anything big so a good size for my needs is a plus. The big disadvantage is the design flaw of the legs on the stand, they are very unstable and want to collapse. To solve the stability issue I used a piece of styrofoam and cut out the indentations for the legs to keep it from collapsing or moving on me. I didn't have to fix a

As others have said.

. It doesn't fit large bobbins. If you're trying to fill all 16 spots with big coils, this isn't for you. I bought solely for my 10 spools of thread that I use regularly and it's pretty good for that purpose. The main issue with this holder is the actual design - the "legs" that stick out at the back come out and stand. straight down creating a very gentle angle. Basically it will fall if you are not careful enough and/or touch it often. For example, if the legs came out at a 110 degree angle…
