🍽️ Venice Table Runner by June Tailor - JT 1458 Review

Fun and easy to make. I use holiday fabrics. A pack of 2 1/2" wide strips makes a lot. Use 1/2 yard of fabric for backing. Binding is 120" strips 2 1/2" wide (3 strips). These are New Year's gifts for adults Granddaughters. 3 are finished, there is still a lot to do. Try this project. I think you will like it.

I have made many of these June Taylor quilted runners and placemats. I love that they use small strips of fabric so I can use some from my stash. Although quilted on the go, you can add area quilting later, in free motion or in a straight line. I'll do more next holiday season.

I really liked the pattern and used my own fabric for the jelly roll. A disadvantage. The instructions are a little hard to follow. If someone used to make a quilt while walking, this would have been an easier project. BUT I've learned a few things that I'll take with me when I try another project like this. The man who got the table runner and loved it. I converted it to a table rail/door hanger and she loved it. This is her door right in the middle between the two windows.
