Suitable for weighing grain on brew day.

I love this scale. I've done some unofficial checks and they seem pretty accurate. It's small enough to fit in a drawer, yet powerful enough to handle whole grains for my brew day. I like that I can move the display backwards. This makes the screen much easier to see. The only thing I complain about is that the display is a bit awkward to slide back. The small clip is a bit painful to release. No big deal. I'll probably just leave it unhooked next time I use it.

Seven years of stable operation and still at the top!

I bought one of these seven years ago and have used it many times. It has never let me down. Things I like: great battery life, easy on/off, and accurate weighing of light and heavy items. One of the hallmarks of its accuracy is that when I need to get an item to the post office it's always accurate and they weigh it too. Things I would change about him: Nothing. This is a great little scale and I salute the engineers who designed them and the people who make them. If mine stops working todayโ€ฆ

100% Accurate - Postal scale

Purchased February 2011 - Great scale, just for the post office (I've been told I need a good scale when checking in packages and telling them how much they cost to weigh). I've also used it to weigh suitcases (you pay more if they weigh over 50lbs when flying). I put the batteries in the first day and haven't changed them yet - February 2011 - Today is February 2018! I bought a power cord but it was gone for about a week, the batteries got me going straight away and was still waiting for it to

More than three years later - I'm really happy with this product.

After more than three years I am really satisfied with this product. I use it relatively lightly, but I measure things both light and heavy, ranging from a few ounces to 45 pounds. The detachable control head is great, but that's the only weak point: the twisted wire connecting the head to the scale is no longer twisted and I have to manually insert it into the scale body. Slightly uncomfortable but very minor. After using it this morning to handle the suitcase of a family member who was aboutโ€ฆ

Excellent investment! on postal scale

I just realized that I've never reviewed this scale, but it seems I've owned it since 2009, so 11 years! I bought this to weigh packages for my online sales (eBay etc). My daughter recently used it to weigh her meal portions. It has multiple weight options (grams, pounds, ounces, etc.) and a tare option, which we like. Also, being able to detach the front reading mechanism is very convenient when you have a large box, plate, etc. that is blocking your view. The investment in this practicalโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High quality assembly
Cons
  • There are nuances

Ambiguous and contradictory to the power supply. One location says it's included (see below), while another says it's not. I'm still waiting for mine. I received the scale without an adapter in the box. Product Description * Load capacity 55 lbs or 25 kg * Blue backlit LCD display * Accuracy to 2 grams up to 1 kg and 5 grams from 1 to 16 kg * Auto power off (adjustable) * Auto calibration * Auto zero tracking * FREE adapter included * Detachable Display, display can be mounted up to 2 feet away

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

The battery compartment is annoyingly flimsy.

I really wanted this product and despite all my complaints below it still works. Here are a few things I learned from using it: 1) The battery compartment is too thin and barely stays in place, if you stand the unit firmly while lifting it, 4 batteries will fall out and roll across the room. There is even a warning about this at the beginning of the operating instructions. Why not make a more durable compartment? 2) Battery issue as auto/shutdown is very fast. If you weigh something and pick up

Big scale. Just make sure you don't get a melody.

Very accurate and reliable scale. I mainly use them to weigh lighter items but have also weighed larger boxes and they have a detachable display which is very handy when it would otherwise be covered by the box. I originally ordered this scale a few years ago in addition to the power supply. It never read properly (always flickering) so I tossed it in a corner and forgot about it. I was going to throw it away for good this year, but I looked online and found that the flickering issue was due to

Amazing Postal Scale

**PROS**It's like two scales in one Need a Postal Scale? postal scales? UltraShip will help you with this. To get the most accurate weight readings for both small and large items, My Weigh created this dual resolution shipping scale. Why? Smaller items such as letters and envelopes require more accurate weights since you are billing by the ounce. Larger items, bags and boxes require more capacity and are usually rounded up to the shipping cost. The design of this postal scale gives you accurate
