Good as a learning center in kindergarten

I like to use them as a learning center for kids to learn how to read and recognize CVC words. It's easy to fold parts and separate them. The letters are different on each side of the pieces. I wish it was the same because my preschoolers had trouble finding the right letters without flipping the triangular pieces. Also, my students got the letters mixed up as to which path was up. Is that the letter p, d, used or n. Can be confusing without adult supervision. Otherwise, the students had fun…

Reliable handy tool for phonetics and collocations

This has proven to be a useful tool in the phonetics learning arsenal. While I disagree with different shades of blue for initial and final sounds (why not use two completely different colors?), the handy CVC word formation and ability for multiple start/rhyme actions are still useful. What I did was separate the pieces by color and put them in bags (after this step the cylindrical plastic container was no longer needed), which allows kids to reach the worker faster and avoids confusion…

Ideal for 3 letter words

I looked at several other letter tiles before purchasing these blocks. I finally decided on them after reading these reviews and seeing what you can add (3 and 4 word builder tools). The first day after receiving these blocks I thought they were amazing. I used them with my 8 year old son to work on spelling words. He absolutely loved these blocks and it's awesome.
