Bought as a gift so I can't comment on durability. I poured 4 pounds. gummy bears and gave it to my transplant team for the anniversary of my transplant. It was a good weight and perfect for my needs. And a little old-fashioned quirk of being able to sit back added to the appeal of my presence. The included shovel made it perfect.

This is fantastic. I bought these for our office break room and have received many compliments on the lightness and convenience of the container, including the lid and magnetic scoop. We include different types of nuts, popcorn, and pretzels in our containers. The jar is very thick and the lid unscrews easily. I highly recommend this product. Just make sure you double check the size of the glass you are planning to buy.

You know what. I'm very pleasantly surprised with this product, I thought it was small or even tiny (laughs, I've been burned before) but it's just the right size. good environment. In fact, you can put a whole pack of cereal in there for the whole family and still have room to breathe. The concept of a spoon is also worth its money. I RECOMMEND. Wonderful! Perfect for the "Community" candy jar as it has a measuring spoon! I really like this penny jar but it's smaller than I expected. I was hoping I could use it as a jar dust bath for my three chinchillas by scooping out the poop with a scoop, but the penny jar isn't big enough. A chinchilla can squeeze in, but there is not enough room for a chinchilla to bathe well. Such a crap! I hope the manufacturer considers making a larger size and selling it to chinchilla owners.
