I really like this penny jar but it's smaller than I expected. I was hoping I could use it as a jar dust bath for my three chinchillas by scooping out the poop with a scoop, but the penny jar isn't big enough. A chinchilla can squeeze in, but there is not enough room for a chinchilla to bathe well. Such a crap! I hope the manufacturer considers making a larger size and selling it to chinchilla owners. Unfortunately there are very few glass/porcelain/ceramic options on the market! Most of them are plastic, which can be dangerous for all plastic chewing chinchillas (and most of them are). If the manufacturer is considering scaling up, other small changes that make the jar more appealing to chinchilla owners include making the lid and scoop 100% metal with no plastic components. Pretty jar and wish it worked for what I was hoping for!
