🚤 JVC CS-DR6200M Marine Speaker 6.5" 2-Way Black - Premium Audio for Marine Enthusiasts Review

I bought these to replace a pair of 25 year old JVCs that are installed on my boat. They fit perfectly in the same hole but required drilling new screw holes which wasn't a big deal. Screws and metal brackets were also provided. The sound is excellent, with adequate bass and treble. I cranked the volume up for a test run and they sounded great with no distortion. These speakers are very good value for money. The packaging was excellent.

This is a great pair of marine speakers for great value. Baskets appear to be fairly sturdy plastic so rusting is not an option. The grate is an integral part of the plastic, making installation quick and easy. The connections on the speaker, both positive and negative, are standard spade connectors, making it easy to select connections and not have to "run around looking for tiny female connectors". I bought these speakers because I wanted something cheap, waterproof, decent sound quality and good looks. These are these speakers. I have used them in a portable speaker build and they are powered by a 2 channel 50w + 50w bluetooth amplifier board. The speakers do a really great job. They have good bass in a closed box and they're loud as hell. The only reason for only 4 starts instead of 5 is that they distort at full volume and the sound quality is good but clearly not as good as JBL or…
