The item is ok but not fully compliant with the description.

Has some pros good sound, there is some kind of bass, highs play perfectly, have been in use for more than 4 months Cons: connected to an amplifier that produces 350 watts, it stinks of burning, although the manufacturer indicated a power of 400 watts at the peak

All is well, liked the product, didn't buy it for nothing.

speakers win back their price. solid 4. When buying, I had to check 2 sets of speakers. in each of the sets, one speaker rattled at low frequencies (not clearly, but audibly). Therefore, from 2 sets, I completed one. I was pleased that the woofer suspension is not butyl rubber (rubber). the sound of the weather will not change either in winter or in summer Pros below: Design Good sound Low-frequency suspension - rubberized fabric Cons: The sound is a bit harsh, like Kenwood KFC-E6965 (no…

Awesome bass for cars and automotive electronics

I just installed these bad boys in my classic muscle car and the bass is amazing. I had a pair of Sony EXS-95 speakers with huge magnets and almost no bass (you get it). These speakers are worth every penny. I reused the old speaker grilles for ease of installation and because they have a grille/screen to protect the speakers. While JVC's speaker grilles look nice, they leave the speaker exposed and installation becomes a two-person job thanks to the supplied screws and clamps. These are my…

Not worth the money

I don't know how these speakers got such a good review but they aren't worth the money, not much better than the crappy factory speakers I replaced them with. went with the cheaper boss speakers and could get the front and rear speakers for just a little more money if you crank the volume midpoint on the kenwood stereo in my kia optima 02 a bit no matter how you change the settings on the system from the presets or the custom settings distort a lot when you read them, they say 400 watts peak…

This value cannot be exceeded!

I bought these to replace the completely destroyed rear speakers on my 1992 Honda Accord. I was able to install them with no modifications (except for one screw on each speaker that didn't quite fit the hole, this could be fixed by drilling a new hole but I wasn't overly concerned). The sound quality is much better than the stock paired with my Kenwood deck. It really seems like a tough deal. I can't say anything about the durability yet, but the bass is great and the sound quality is above…

Excellent value for money

To fit a 2010 Toyota Corolla S. I also bought some aftermarket Revain mounting rings and the installation was fairly quick. The factory speakers were 10 years old, made of paper (which compromised quality) and had a mint-sized magnet. Talk about cheap! Come on Toyota do it better! In any case, these speakers have also caused noticeable changes in the factory radio. I would say 15-20% improvement. The biggest changes were that the highs were clearer without clipping and the lows were tighter…

Upgrade to JVC quality for under $40 and never leave your car again.

I have a 2007 Chrysler Town and Country complete set but for some reason they put cheap speakers in it. They rattled and distorted terribly so I decided to upgrade to this JVC 6x9. I have been buying JVC products for many years so I felt confident in purchasing these speakers. I bought 1 set for front and 1 set for rear, I installed it myself. The only thing I had to do was slightly bend the edge of the speaker hole with pliers. As far as they sound in my Chrysler minivan, they sound great…

Amazing quality for the price

They sounded really good even without an amp. With the amp, even better, I was now hearing so much highs and mids that my stock system was sorely lacking. With an amplifier, the bass output is fine, but it won't be the same unless you add a subwoofer. For a budget speaker system, JVC doesn't disappoint. They're not Rockfords, but they're damn good for under forty bucks. You won't regret getting them, especially if you're on a tight budget. Definitely an upgrade over stock. I ripped off one of…

Updated rating. Spend a few bucks more to get a quality speaker set.

At first I gave them 5 stars but back then as the car I installed them in was a show car I installed a cheap Jensen radio as the car is not driven very often . Well I hated the terrible quality of the Jensen head unit which I found out was just a very cheap Boss radio with Jensen's name on it. Now that I have a quality head unit I have a different opinion on these speakers too. You get what you pay for. The sound is muffled and distorted. Do your homework and check RMS; This means that speakers
