🔝 Enhanced JVC DLA-NX7 D-ILA Projector: Elevating Performance for Better Results Review

Based on our own experience, this projector is the worst electronics purchase we've ever made. The image was blurry and impossible to focus, no matter how much we adjusted it. The only pro is that it was easy to set up, but that's not enough to justify the cost. Save yourself the hassle and find a different brand.

I had a RUNCO 980 with 3 discrete CRT fluorescence guns in a controlled light cinema for over 20 years and finally had a timing problem that ended that era. Studied the market and concluded the NX7 would be a good replacement. Installed yesterday and ran Pirates of the Caribbean Blue Ray yesterday and was blown away by the colour, contrast and sharpness. I bought mine in mid 2019. Firmware update 3.10 added "Dynamic Tone Mapping" for HDR, which means you can watch any 4k HDR source (that has NO luminance standard) and it's very easy to distinguish between dark and light parts of the picture. No other projector on the market has this capability which means some movies/shows will look very dark and washed out.
