HEAR THE DIFFERENCE WITH WOOD: The newest installment in JVC’s Wood Series, the HA-FW01 IEM harnesses the power of wood to create natural-sounding audio with detail to spare. UNCONVENTIONALLY LIGHT: Its 50μm lightweight wood dome diaphragm is 40 percent lighter than conventional IEM diaphragms and equipped with JVC’s unique thin-film processing technology. CUSTOMIZABLE AUDIO: In addition to its immersive sound, the HA-FD01 allows users to customize audio with three interchangeable nozzles, made of titanium, stainless steel, and brass, respectively. WOOD STABILIZER: Vibration is suppressed by using wood parts on the back of the driver unit (the outermost part). This helps to optimally control the housing sound to achieve clear sound without muddying. INCLUDED: Spiral dot earpieces in 5 sizes (S/MS/M/ML/L), Low-resilience earpieces in 2 sizes (S/M), cable keeper, clip, and carrying case included.

Fantastic powerful sound - terrible fit

After years of loving woody JVC my FW01 is finally here. The sound is big, full, warm and juicy - just what I always wanted! However...I can't get in shape no matter what I do. There's a very sharp nozzle angle that doesn't seem to fit what I thought my normal ears would be. In fact, they fit better when rotated right to left! I've also tried wearing them, but again, on the right side, they fit better on the left. Also, the plug of the cable is huge and goes through the middle of the ear so the

Comparison with XBA-N3AP

Right out of the box I could tell they were something special. Countless hours of craftsmanship are evident at a glance. At first glance, this is a work of art. The build feels very solid and durable compared to my XBA-N3 which feels cheap in comparison. Sound: Note: I don't use professional audio equipment to control it. Amazing sound quality

Edit: After using these headphones for a few months they have become my favorite headphones. The accuracy is superior to anything I own, including several headphones that cost twice as much. Unlike another reviewer who said they're "just music," I use them for everything: music, YouTube, voice conferencing, video games, phone calls, etc. It makes everything sound better. MY DISCLAIMER: Sound preferences are inherently subjective. So what seems excellent to me may not necessarily be your cup of tea.
